Beega comes from different entities with miscellaneous skills united by the desire to present their area. Our proposal areitineraries strictly on two wheels , designed to cross, discover and lose yourself in the territory, history and flavors around Cremona.

Beega is for everybody: for those who ride a bicycle every day, for those who ride only on vacation, or only on weekends; but Beega is also for little cyclists of today, who will be tomorrow’s great cyclists.
There are routes designed and selected in particular for them, on safe roads far from traffic.
Beega is the time of a sunny afternoon, a day or part of a journey on two wheels in which, surrounded by the countryside, you will be able to discover the people and taste the specialties of the Cremona area. Beega is a long glance with both legs strong on the pedals.

The Manifesto
1. Bloom again
Beega was born from the desire to flourish our city, Cremona, creating synergies and connections between different actors and entities for the local collective rebirth . We want to enhance our territory and our traditions by allowing our citizens and people from all over the world to have an authentic local experience.
2. go slowly
Beega is a group of people and entities of the area joint by the aim to create cycle tourism offers with a new idea of travel (slow tourism), intended as a discover and rediscover of the little tiny things in a green and slow perspective.
3. Change you pace
Beega speaks to all bike lovers, but not only. It speaks to all the people with curious eyes to discover the world, for those who feel the need to change peace, slowing down instead of accelerating, and breathe the Art, History, Nature deeply all around us. Beega is for those who feel a strong desire to live enhancing experiences and for those who want to share all with friends, partners, family, or even alone.
4. Tell Stories, reveal secrets
We have set a mission: provide an alternative to the same old bicycle routes. How? By telling roads that cross the city’s territory and the neighboring countryside, discovering the beauties and history buried behind the facade of a farmhouse emerging between cornfields or the suggestive name of a well-known locality to be rediscovered through the stories of those who keep its secrets. The CrArT Team, licensed tourist guides, is ready to reveal historical, cultural, naturalistic, and gastronomic secrets of the lands you will cross.
5. Inclusion
Beega embraces a social purpose: through the active participation of Cosper, a social cooperative. The project aims to be a space of inclusion for the weakest people who, through their work in social projects, can find ways to make themselves useful, feel valued and create value for the community.
Beega bike fleet has been refurbished in “La Gare des gares” social workshop, one of the cornerstones of a project by Cosper cooperative, which becomes a workplace, a training space for meeting and promotion of social activities.
It is a workplace where damaged bicycles are repaired and old bikes are reconditioned and restored.
It is a training place where you can work with kids in the spaces of the bicycle workshop: tools and workbenches are available to anyone who wants to work on their bicycle or wishes to learn.
It is a meeting place because the workshop has a section dedicated to the accessible aggregation of anyone who wants to spend time together: boys and girls, commuter workers, cyclists, and cycle tourists.
6. The joy of a flourish
Beega comes from a mix of the local Cremonese dialectal form “biga,” that is, the bike, with the English word “bee.”
The decision of the name comes first from a bicycle (the “biga” in fact) as a privileged vehicle for discovering local beauties. At the same time, the reference to the bee wants to recall the importance of nature’s environmental sustainability and playfulness, the lightness of a flourish, and things done with joy, happiness, and passion. In addition, the paths designed by our tour describe many petals of a flower that start from a central corolla, Cremona!
7. the importance of a unique experience
We want to build a project that is not only about bicycles and tourism, but that offers a unique and unrepeatable experience by experiencing authentic emotions, both for the inhabitants of Cremona and for those who come far away. Beega is a path that leads you to observe closely, literally within, the territory that today presents itself more than ever as an integrated system of coexistence between nature and man, waterways and architecture. Places where typical products can be found all over in nature and savored in the dishes tell our traditions.
8. The bike is for everibody!
The bicycle is a democratic vehicle that symbolizes adventure, discovery, movement, fun, fatigue, effort, and satisfaction of reaching big or small goals.
Beega wants to be at peace of all, going to the rhythm of those who are further behind. It is designed for those who use the bicycle every day and those who use it only on weekends. But it is mainly designed for little kids to offer safe tracks away from traffic. To give children a moment of authentic connection with nature, never forgetting the importance of fun, relationships, and coming back home not only a nice ride but, most of all, a pleasant memory to hide under the pillow before sleeping.
9. Create a network
We want to create a strong network of local activities to create collaborations to increase the experiences related to the territory (gastronomic experiences, artisans, luthiers, breeders, etc.) and to be able to offer a 360 ° service.
Beega wants to awaken the passion of the bicycle in each one of us. Tickling our curiosity and pushing us out from standard paths, making us sustainably see the territory and reconnecting people with the network of farms, taverns, and shops of artisans, beekeepers, and farmers to make them known and to be able to tell their life experiences and be inspired and infected by them.
10. Change is now!
Beega is made for those who care about our Hearth destiny and want to try to change it, only with our foot and with a bicycle. Beega is a long glance with legs firmly on the pedals.
the project was born from the collaborations between InCremona strong> (tourist consortium which includes CrArT guides and the Nobile travel agency), Cosper Social Cooperative, Nazareth cooperative, Cicloofficina and private citizens.
